Samsung on Friday, April 17, showcased a suite of artificial intelligence-led enterprise solutions aimed at transforming physical spaces such as retail stores and bank branches into connected, data-driven environments.

The showcase, held at its Business Experience Studio in Gurugram, brought together a range of displays, software tools and connected devices to illustrate how such systems could be deployed across commercial settings.

Glasses-free 3D display takes center stage
A key highlight was the introduction of “Spatial Signage,” a glasses-free 3D display designed for commercial environments. The technology combines traditional 2D visuals with depth effects, creating an immersive experience without requiring special eyeglasses.

The 2.15-metre display features 4K resolution in a vertical format and is powered by Samsung’s processing engine for upscaling, enhanced color mapping and dynamic contrast. It also includes an anti-glare panel and a slim design suited for high-traffic locations such as retail outlets and bank branches.

AI driven by usage patterns

Samsung said its AI ecosystem is centered on personalisation, with devices learning from daily usage patterns and adjusting automatically.

For instance, in a connected home setup, an air conditioner can analyze room temperature, humidity levels and past user preferences to optimize cooling without manual input. The system continuously adapts based on user behavior, the company said.

Expanding AI in everyday living

The company also outlined potential applications of AI in healthcare and assisted living. According to Samsung, its systems can study user activity patterns over a period of around 21 days to establish behavioral baselines.

If unusual patterns are detected—such as a lack of interaction with connected devices like refrigerators, air conditioners or washing machines—the system can trigger alerts. This, Samsung said, could help monitor elderly family members, particularly in urban households where caregivers may not always be present.

Additional features include location tracking and medication reminders aimed at supporting daily health management.

AI tools for businesses

On the enterprise side, Samsung showcased its content and device management platform, Samsung VXT, which allows businesses to control and update displays remotely across multiple locations.

Its AI Studio tool enables the conversion of static visuals into 3D-ready content using prompts, reducing the time and complexity typically associated with content creation.

Use cases demonstrated included dynamic promotions in retail environments and queue management systems in banking spaces.

Security and connected ecosystem

Samsung said its solutions are backed by Samsung Knox, which provides enterprise-grade security across devices and networks.

The showcase also highlighted interoperability across Samsung’s ecosystem, enabling connected experiences between appliances, displays and mobile devices.
