Fresh reports suggest the smartphone could arrive in the second half of 2026 with a redesigned look and upgraded hardware.
Samsung has not yet revealed the official price for the Galaxy A27 5G. But a Bajaj Finserv report suggests the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model will cost around ₹21,999 in India.
Color and design
Leaked renders shared by tipster OnLeaks and MyMobiles show the Samsung Galaxy A27 in three color options: Black, Blue and Light Pink. The smartphone appears to feature a flat screen and relatively thin bezels compared to its predecessor.
One of the biggest visual changes is the front display. Unlike the older Galaxy A26, which used a waterdrop-style notch, the new Galaxy A27 is expected to come with a punch-hole camera cutout placed at the top center of the screen.
At the back, the device is seen with a flat rear panel and a pill-shaped camera module positioned in the top-left corner. Samsung branding is expected to remain at the lower section of the panel.
Display and performance details
According to leaked specifications, the Galaxy A27 could feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display. While Samsung has not confirmed the panel type yet, reports suggest the phone may continue using a 120Hz AMOLED screen similar to the previous model.
The smartphone is expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor instead of Samsung’s Exynos chipset used in the older model. The Galaxy A27 may launch with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. Reports claim the device may not support microSD card expansion this time, which could disappoint some users who prefer expandable storage.
Camera Upgrades and Changes
For photography, the Samsung Galaxy A27 is tipped to feature a triple rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). The device could also include a 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, Samsung may offer a 12-megapixel selfie camera for video calls and selfies.
Battery and other features
The Galaxy A27 is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W wired fast charging, similar to the current model. Additional leaked details suggest the phone could weigh around 200 grams and measure approximately 162.4 × 78.2 × 7.8 mm. The smartphone is expected to be a dual-SIM handset running Android 16-based OneUI 8.5.
Expected launch timeline
While Samsung has not officially announced the launch date, reports indicate the Samsung Galaxy A27 could debut later in 2026.
