There’s a reason why Nvidia is taking on Intel and AMD with AI chips for personal computers.

On Monday, Intel’s stock fell 4.7% to $109.33 at the close of trading in New York, while Nvidia’s shares gained 6.2%. Shares in Arm Holdings Plc, whose technology will get a boost from Nvidia’s backing, jumped 16%. MediaTek stock climbed more than 5% in Taipei, according to data from Bloomberg.
