According to Boppana, the traditional model of computing that has dominated for decades is giving way to a new era of neural processing, opening up possibilities across industries ranging from healthcare and manufacturing to automotive and software development.
He said the pace of change is unlike anything he has experienced, even after witnessing previous technology revolutions. The rapid advances in Tata Consultancy Services are creating entirely new ways of solving problems and are expected to reshape virtually every industry.
For AMD, the opportunity goes beyond short-term growth. The company has built a strategy around leadership products, open software ecosystems and deep customer partnerships to capture the growing demand for AI computing.
“In terms of the overall business possibilities, when you look at market opportunities of around $1 trillion TAM, there really aren’t many opportunities like this on the planet. That’s what makes it super exciting for us. Because the gains are so transformative, the market is valuing these opportunities accordingly.”
The company views deep relationships with customers and the open-source community as key pillars of its long-term growth roadmap.

According to Boppana, AMD’s strategy goes beyond developing chips and hardware. The company works closely with customers deploying AI at scale to ensure that its products align with their evolving requirements.
The chipmaker’s growth roadmap rests on three key pillars. The first is delivering leadership products consistently across generations. The second is creating a world-class software ecosystem built around open-source collaboration. The third is developing deep partnerships with customers deploying AI at scale.
In India, AMD is also looking to expand its partnership network. Boppana said the company expects to pursue additional collaborations following its partnership with Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), as AI adoption gathers pace across the country.
