1. ICT Development Index (IDI) The ICT Development Index measures information and communication technology (ICT) access, usage and skills. According to the report, India is ranked around 130th among 176 countries in the latest edition of the index.
2. Network Readiness Index (NRI) The Network Readiness Index measures digital readiness across technology, people, governance and impact. India is placed around 45th among 127 countries in the latest ranking.
3. e-Government Development Index (EGDI) The e-Government Development Index evaluates digital government services, infrastructure and human capital. India is ranked around 97th among 193 countries.
4. Government AI Readiness Index This index measures how prepared governments are to adopt and govern artificial intelligence. According to the report, India is ranked around 46th among 193 countries.
5. AI Preparedness Index (AIPI) The AI Preparedness Index measures AI readiness based on infrastructure, skills, innovation and regulation. India is placed 71st among 174 countries in its latest edition.
6. Global AI Vibrancy Index The Global AI Vibrancy Index tracks AI activity, including research, patents, investment, talent and adoption. The report places India among the top five countries in a sample of 36.
7. Global AI Index The Global AI Index measures AI capability across talent, infrastructure, investment and research. According to the report, India is among the top 10 countries in a sample of 83.
8. State of India’s Digital Economy (SIDE) | The State of India’s Digital Economy index is the report’s own benchmark for measuring digital progress. It uses the CHIPS framework, which evaluates countries across five pillars—Connect, Harness, Innovate, Protect and Sustain. According to the report, India is ranked 8th out of 33 in the SIDE ranking.
