According to Weibo tipster Fixed Focus Digital, both the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max could be around 2mm thicker than the current-generation Pro models, taking the overall thickness to about 10.75mm.
But according to Macworld, the phone’s body may remain largely unchanged at 8.75mm, with the additional thickness coming from a larger camera module.
Heavier than before
Leaks also suggest the new Pro models could weigh more than their predecessors. Tipsters Instant Digital and Ice Universe claim the iPhone 18 Pro Max may weigh around 240 grams, compared with 233 grams for the current model. While the exact weight of the standard Pro model remains unclear, reports indicate it could also become slightly heavier.
Black color option may be dropped
Another rumored change is the possible removal of the black color option. Earlier leaks had suggested Apple would launch the Pro models in black, dark cherry, light blue and silver. More recent reports, however, claim the black finish may be dropped, leaving dark cherry, light blue and silver as the available colours.
