The event brought together artists, musicians, and creators, focusing on current trends in creative practices rather than a retrospective of the company’s history.
The program began with Mumbai-based artist Mira Felicia Malhotra unveiling a mural created for the occasion. Her work reflects a mix of feminist themes and pop culture influences.
This was followed by a panel discussion featuring Malhotra and singer-songwriter Anuv Jain. The discussion examined the overlap between sound and visual storytelling, and how creators are working across multiple disciplines. Jain, whose work draws on personal experiences, has previously said, “Everything that I’ve written so far is taken from my life,” a point referenced during the conversation.
Actor Rohit Saraf also made an appearance at the event. He shared a personal anecdote about his late father’s iPod, noting that the device continues to function after more than two decades, highlighting the long-term personal value associated with technology.
The event formed part of Apple’s broader 50-year milestone, with a focus on the role of technology in supporting creative work.
Separately, Apple CEO Tim Cook said, “When you really stop and pause and think about the last 50 years, it makes your heart sing.”
