Indian IT major HCLTech on Thursday announced a collaboration with Red Hat to launch enterprise-ready AI infrastructure aimed at helping organizations deploy and scale artificial intelligence across business operations.
The partnership will strengthen HCLTech’s AI Factory ecosystem — a platform designed to integrate multiple technology partners and deliver end-to-end AI infrastructure solutions for enterprise clients. The move comes as companies worldwide increase AI investments while grappling with challenges around scaling systems, managing costs and handling increasingly complex deployments.
Industry experts say enterprise AI is rapidly moving beyond pilot projects and generative AI experimentation toward integration into core business functions. That shift is driving demand for robust infrastructure capable of supporting AI workloads across on-premise systems, cloud platforms and edge environments.
As part of the collaboration, HCLTech AI Factory with Red Hat will use Red Hat AI Enterprise to create a unified platform for deploying and managing AI applications across hybrid ecosystems. The offering is expected to improve infrastructure utilization, enhance model efficiency and reduce inference costs through capabilities such as model optimization, distributed computing and centralized operations.
The companies said the platform will also include a governed data layer featuring data lineage tracking and operational controls — capabilities that are becoming increasingly important as enterprises seek stronger oversight, compliance and reliability in AI systems.
The partnership reflects a broader shift in the technology industry, where cloud providers, infrastructure companies and software firms are moving toward building integrated AI stacks rather than standalone tools. As businesses expand AI use cases across customer engagement, software development and internal operations, demand for production-ready infrastructure is rising.
“Enterprises are moving beyond experimentation to operationalising AI across their core businesses,” said Rampal Singh, adding that the HCLTech AI Factory with Red Hat is designed to help organizations industrialise AI and translate investments into measurable business outcomes.
Ryan King said the initiative would allow enterprises to deploy and manage AI workloads consistently — from centralized data centers to edge locations — helping unlock greater value from AI-led transformation initiatives.
The collaboration also aligns with HCLTech’s broader push into AI- and cloud-led services. The company has been expanding partnerships and platform-driven offerings as clients increasingly seek ready-to-deploy solutions. HCLTech, which employs more than 227,000 people globally and reported revenue of $14.7 billion for the 12 months ended March 2026, has identified AI and hybrid cloud as major growth drivers.
With competition intensifying for enterprise AI spending, analysts expect partnerships between infrastructure providers, cloud platforms and software vendors to play a key role in shaping scalable AI ecosystems.
HCLTech has been actively expanding its AI partnerships in recent months. In March, it deepened its engagement with Google Cloud to accelerate adoption of agentic AI, including the development of AI agents built on Gemini models and structured programs to scale deployments across industries.
The company also broadened its strategic alliance with CrowdStrike to introduce AI-driven Continuous Threat Exposure Management services aimed at improving cybersecurity and risk visibility.
Beyond AI infrastructure, HCLTech has expanded collaborations across sectors. It recently partnered with DP World Tour to enhance digital fan experiences and widened its association with MetLife Stadium as an Official AI Partner for the venue and its affiliated sports teams.
The Red Hat partnership further reinforces HCLTech’s strategy of building integrated AI ecosystems, as enterprises increasingly look for turnkey solutions to move AI from experimentation to large-scale deployment.
