The company said the filings align with its priorities of improving vehicle safety, reliability, total cost of ownership, and occupant comfort.
It said the filings also reflect a focus on future-ready and sustainable mobility, including electric vehicles and hydrogen-based internal combustion engines.
During the year, the company filed 21 design applications and 35 copyright applications in addition to patent filings. It also secured 15 patent grants, taking its cumulative number of granted patents to over 650.
The company said this performance highlights its focus on innovation to deliver value to customers and reinforces its position in commercial vehicle innovation.
