Facebook-parent Meta said on Friday, June 12, that users were having trouble accessing the social media company’s services.
“We’re aware people are currently having trouble accessing our services. We’re working on it,” company spokesperson Andy Stone said in a post on X.
Thousands of users across the world, including in India, are facing a widespread disruption affecting Meta-owned platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Ads Manager.
Users reported being unable to access their accounts, with many encountering login failures, “session expired” messages, and instances of being unexpectedly locked out of their profiles. The disruption has impacted services across multiple regions, affecting both personal and business accounts on Meta platforms.
