The High-Altitude Man-Portable Anti-Drone System (MPADS) is designed for deployment in mountainous and remote locations where vehicle-mounted systems are difficult to operate, the company said in an exchange filing.
According to the Hyderabad-based company, the platform combines radio frequency detection, data fusion and omni-directional jamming in a portable configuration that can be carried by soldiers or transported using pack animals, all-terrain vehicles and unmanned ground vehicles.
Zen Technologies said the system can detect drones at distances of up to 5 km by scanning the 400 megahertz to 6 gigahertz radio frequency spectrum. It also provides omni-directional jamming of up to 3 km to disrupt drone command links and Global Navigation Satellite System signals.
The company said the platform is capable of detecting multiple drones, including swarms, and is designed for round-the-clock operations in different weather conditions.

Integrated command system
The platform includes the company’s radio frequency-based drone detector, which uses correlative interferometry and digital beamforming to determine the direction of drones. It is integrated with a Data Fusion and Command Center that consolidates inputs from multiple sensors, allowing operators to monitor airspace, classify aerial threats, analyze spectrum activity and support operational decision-making.
The defense electronics company said the system has been developed to address the increasing use of drones in high-altitude and border regions while supporting indigenous defense manufacturing.
Q1 Results
The launch comes after the company reported a weaker performance for the June quarter on Saturday. Net profit declined 27.8% year-on-year to ₹34.4 crore from ₹48 crore, while revenue from operations fell 10.5% to ₹141.6 crore from ₹158.2 crore.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) dropped 40.2% to ₹38.7 crore from ₹64.7 crore, with EBITDA margin narrowing to 27.3% from 40.9%.
Shares of Zen Tech ended 1.82% lower at ₹1,768 on Friday ahead of the announcement. The stock has gained more than 30% so far in 2026.
